8 tips for learning the Thai language

I live in Rayong - live in Rayong - Rayong Yoo TEE.

2. Adjectives always follow the name, no exceptions.

I have big house - ground-Yai noodles.

3. Verbs are conjugated: past, present and future all the same word, so time to show tense and the verb always time for the word.

Tomorrow, we go to market? - We're going to market tomorrow; - Khun Talad prungnee Bai May;

To view the past with already (lay-ow) at the end of the sentence, or using a long word (like yesterday ).

I ate - I have Restaurants - Jin [with a hard G] Development ow.

Future with specified / The (yes).

4. Plural is general or specific, as in English. With plural generics, double name.

The child is the noun person is defined as classifiers or word group. An example of this is in English A farmer has three heads of cattle.

5. Questions were raised by a statement and then plopping a question word at the end.

When you go on the market? - You can enter the market and when; - Khun Bai Talad adolescents?

You can ask any question that represents Canada and welding What? At the end of the sentence. In Thailand, What? Is They? With a rising tone.

6. It is negative for May in place (read: God! With falling tone) before an adjective or a verb

7. Do not be afraid of the Thai alphabet, learn about the strange looking characters that are quite different from our letters. Thai letters always accompany the name. For example, G is Guy Gah. Guy is the word of Thai chicken, and starts with the letter. Thai vowel consonants are indirect, we do not do in English. A K English is only one line, but in Thailand, a K is a silent vowel ah or h . You can replace the vowel implied by a particular vowel.

Thailand has many C s, a number of P and F s, etc. using the name to distinguish connected. We say B is for Baby , C's car, which is the same, but in English we can say the name of the same letter, B, C, D, Thai, etc. You can always say your name, so we can discern a K on the other, a P on the other, because all the K s is known as Kah , all P S Bah! etc.

By the way, have English 3 C K , C and Q make all K sounds like cat , cat left , everyone has a voice K . We also have 2 J s: John and George both voice J . And also 2 S s : Cecilia and Sam. And two Z s about and Zoo .
Arrgh! English is a stupid plan.

Thus, English has special features, such as Thailand, and from the same reason: the historical roots of language.

Many of the Thai characters are just like their English counterparts, are just different. A hard G in English is a hard G in Thailand, but rather differently.

8. Another oddity: Thai Vowels can appear at the top, bottom, back and front of a line, but it hangs around. A vowel is always at the line, no matter where it is very. Oh, and all words starting with Thailand in line is no exception. There are some vowels are written before the pact, but the beginning of a word, the consonants, vowels are not, because the vowel is pronounced after consonants, although in reality he is faced with the line.

And now you're totally confused, let me leave you with this last breath considerations in mind.

Were submitted after the age of 6 or 7 brainwashed to accept the English alphabet as normal and natural. We are actually four separate and different alphabets, which is designed differently, and each letter in each alphabet has the same name as in the other three alphabets. This is very, very silly, but take it as natural because they are brainwashed.
A child six no question why the language is. I refer to the upper and lower case printing and writing. There are 4 different types of writing A B , C , etc. Thailand is only one that makes much more sense. There are upper and lowercase letters in Thailand, and there is written and Print , the Thai word for both [Kee-translated] Draft. Because you have to learn the Thai alphabet. Thais must learn four English alphabet.

I hope you find it useful and wish you speedy progress with Thailand. Speak Easy Thai, you can use to quickly build your vocabulary. I had many, many people to thank for making the writing of the Speak Easy in Thailand and made available so cheap. During the 45 years I have programming in Canada, France and Australia, nobody thanked for my work, but Thailand is a common occurrence.
